After speaking, we have come to a decision. Charles isn't interested in the position.

However I would like to have Charles as my adviser. Questions, comments and complaints may be directed towards him. So if there is an issue and I am not around, please let Mr. Rockledge know and he will pass the information up.

In the mean time I believe we have hunters to take care of and a breach of the masquerade to cover up.

I personally had all roads blocked for the hunters, as well as covered the masquerade as much as possible, explaining that the whole thing was to promote and upcoming movie and that anything 'unexplainable' was simply special fx.

I suggest those who have further influence available that we further cover this up. As this wasn't just a minor incident as the entire bridge was almost just blown up.

In addition the hunters will be back. Instead of targeting our ghouls, our weak kin and our loved ones, I suggest diverting their attention.

Mack, you are the Juggernaut. I thank you for taking the hits for everyone. I suggest we set them up. Leak information to the police. Where and when they should meet 'you'. They now know your face and prowess and will come back hunting.

This way, we can have them on our terms and deal with them in one fell swoop. I suggest knock-out gas or something simple.

Had she not shut the roads down and alerted the media every hunter in gods creation would consider Rockland prime time share location.

You and I saw the Baroness breakdown. It is obvious to all that she has a issue or two in her head that needs to be ironed out. But i can vouch myself personally for being aware that SOMEONE used a directly aggressive power upon her early in the night that drove her more insane.

With a recent influx in Malkavians in the city, and my lack of trust for Almina the Cam Wench, i see this infighting to be all caused by an outside force.

Our candidate has chosen not to accept our nomination. And As enforcer of the Knights, whom will Protect whatever Baron/Baroness Rockland has, i ask you to put your razor sharp tongue back within your cheeks and cease this rabble rousing. Let there be peace and tranquility for sometime before we start second guessing Allura. She's the 2nd Baron in rockland.

I'm sure the masons are laughing at this whole situation and perhaps we are learning from it. They removed themselves from the city for us to fend for ourselves. Lets bring them honor and show them we're worthy to take care of this city they spent 200 years preserving for our freedom. "

Mac, you are my brother and my friend, and our will is usually one, however I stand behind what I say, I cannot deny what Alura has done wig her influence but it is something that we are all expected to do. We all have our strengths, and alura is about as effective in combat as a wet noodle, so thank God she has some redeeming quality's. I outfitted everyone with masks so our faces were concealed the entire time, which makes this cover up allot easier, and our identitys allot safer.

I do not believe she is a good choice for the role o the Barron. Perhaps a "Domain Guardian" possition can be instituded by the next baron which she would fill splendedly, but I feel we need a new Baron... who will create ambassador positions to deal wig rival factions and have a strict foreighn policy.

I was definitely not myself that night. And I was definitely under the effects of some crazy Malkavian power. At one moment I was happy, the next I was sad, then chewing on my scarf and then I was sweating blood. That is not myself and everyone knows it.

Anyone who is in a position of power is going to be targeted, and with powers. It will happen. Even if it's only someone doing it for funzies.

Two months ago I was targeted by a werewolf, which I'm pretty sure the Knights sent at me. A month ago, someone warped reality in my mind. And this month, someone made me insane. I have seen some crazy shit. That is my cross to bear. It's part of the job and personally I would hope everyone would be able to understand that. We aren't in Kansas anymore.

Charles is wonderful and I love him to death. However, he is too trusting and too easily manipulated. I think that is common knowledge. This is a major issue when dealing with someone like the Setites for example. Zach - also a 'new damned treaty' was proposed. But you try getting the Cam and Sabbat together in one room and forming any sort of treaty. This has been attempted but peace is a slow political process that needs to be done very carefully as to avoid a war.

Speaking of the Setites they are amazing silvered tongued, manipulators and liars. If I could cover up the moon, the Setities could tell you the moon was made of cheese and you should go bring back a piece of them to feed a cow of theirs that lays a golden egg and they would still be 'telling the truth.' You might even believe it.

When we had that meeting with the Setites, they were trying to manipulate me into having the anarchs and the baroness owe them a personal favor. I declined, told him off and left the meeting. He was trying to make us owe them a favor, in exchange for nothing. That is how the Setites are. They have smeared my name before and this is nothing new.

So if you take someone easily manipulated, with power, just speaking to the Setites, we could all end up slaves for 7 years. Believe me they have tried this before.

They have dragged my name through the mud before and I'm sure they will do it again. Just realize that like Jean-Louis, everything they say could easily be a lie and the truth at the same time.

I am also pretty sure there is a written copy of said treaty, as how would it have been SIGNED if there wasn't a written copy. In addition he said he had copies lying around and would get me a copy. Have I received said copy that Cid promised? Of course not.

I am all for complying to past treaties and future treaties. However I have been told numerous times different parties are breaking said treaty, but how am I supposed to do anything about the treaty, let alone uphold it - if I do not know what it says?

I do realize I have a lot to learn, this position was held for centuries by the previous baron and I learned from him extensively. However one must realize there are thousands of things to learn, and while being sling-shotted into the position, and no one willing to give me the information I need, things become rather difficult.

What I do know and have learned is we need to work together and not be divided if we want this area secure. There are tons of things behind this position and there is no way to make everyone happy all of the time.

While 'on trial' there was a person calling for my death. If you don't want me to stay on as Baroness, that is fine. I will gladly, step down. I'm sick and tired of this witch hunt. Why do you think the previous Baron stepped down?

You all agreed that if you wanted someone to speak for you that is fine. I don't mind speaking to the Cam, dealing with the Setites and fucking with the Sabbat. But if you want someone to speak for you, let it be someone who you want to make your words sound pretty and delicate, someone who at the end of the day you can still like for telling you what you don't want to hear. Three months ago I was unanimously elected. I asked you if you would change your minds in three months or stand behind me. Everyone has said they would stand behind me and three months later everyone has forgotten what they said. I thank you Mac for standing behind me. I don't thank you Aaron for wanting me to step down.

But I'd like the Rockland anarchs to make their own decision. The Springfield anarchs seem highly involved with our politics, while I think the Rockland anarchs should make their own decision. We are all anarchs but none of us screw with the politics in your area. All of us understand you two are big ducks in a small pond.

There are 4 people qualified for this position, people who have been around since the beginning. Again I love these people to death.

Alura who is the life of a party, the diplomat and thinks things through.
William Johns who is the best sharp shooter in the area.
Charles Rockledge always friendly and always there for you.
Alexhandros fights like an ox and is as stubborn as one.

Alexhandros charges head long into battle with very little tact. We don't know why he still alive, but he still is.

Charles Rockledge is too trusting and naive and will have total strangers bunk at his haven.

William Johns is about William Johns before anything else.

Alura is rarely listened to, but when she is good things usually happen.

Show a little respect for the Baron. Whomever it is. I am not your bitch. Someone slapped me infront of everyone. Someone else interrupted me while I was speaking to the leader of the Garu. Someone else called for my death in the middle of my 'trial'.

Show some respect for each other, whomever it is. I am Alura, I am a Vampire, and I am also currently your Baroness. Or did everyone forget one of the rights of a Baron is the power of destruction. Because if a little respect isn't shown around here, Baroness or not, I would watch your ass or apologize quickly if you've gotten on my bad side.

I'm not going to kill anyone. I have much more humanity than that. I AM saying the position of Baron should be respected. Also I'm pretty sure 'cracking' doesn't cause someone to sweat blood. Were you the one who made me crazy to make me look bad? You were the opposing candidate after all. So I don't think voting for yourself really counts as not voting for me. You haven't even been here more than a few months.

As for leadership. I think the people need a voice. Someone who is looking out for all of our best interests and in the security of Rockland. Not someone who wants chaos.

The Anarch traditions stop us from becoming the Cam as the big dog rules with the iron stick. They also stop us from becoming the Sabbat and blood bonding and diablorizing each other every chance someone gets.

I have no problem stepping down and moving aside, but in exchange you need to learn to accept the leadership that is around you. I'm not telling you how to live your life.

And yes I'm saying certain people are qualified because they know the area for years. The politics. They know who Jean-Louis is. They know who Samantha is. They know that hunters and mages have attacked us in the past and we've dealt with them before. Some of us have even survived being pulled into the umbra like Alexhandros.

I'm sorry you don't want to be led. And you'd rather have chaos leading your life. But I do not think you realize we are surrounded by enemies on all sides and we need a form of government that keeps them fighting each other instead of hunting us.

How many times have you personally gone into Cam territory? Spoken with the Prince? Been into Sabbat territory. Tried to do diplomatic negotiations with the Sabbat.

When is the last time you negotiated with a werewolf, told an elder they're wrong, or even seen an elder?

Tell me about Isabella. Who is Hotaru and Tiko and what is the black cross? Do you even know any history about the area at all? How about Yohan?

I don't think I'm better than anyone. I do think, I've been around a while. I know things. I've been here. Watching, learning, living.

I haven't survived by being stupid. Like I said there are 4 vampires left from just 3-4 years ago.

We started with over 30. We've probably had over 100 vampires in and out of these part over just the past 3-4 years. There are FOUR of us left, besides the elders and the barons gang.

The baron stepped down for a reason. The exact same coup you are throwing at me. Francois stabilized this area for hundreds of years and the public turned against him.

He stepped down and walked away. I have no problem doing the same.

But I do hope you realize that two barons turning over in just a few months span. The Sabbat and everyone else will see that as a huge weakness and have you for lunch.

You're voting for someone who has declined the position.

Sounds like you might have ended up with a combination of mortal hunters that are supported by the church mostly likely and maybe made strong allies in law enforcement. Law enforcement seems to be a common background for hunters.
The magical paladin type hunters (well, I at least call them Paladins.) seem to believe they get their powers from "Heralds." My first thought on idea of heralds is support from God and/or Angels.
This falls in the category of no easy solution. Your people will need to get a coordinated system or surveillance and info gathering on them. They still have mortal lives and have jobs, family, friends, bills, and such. The law does not protect them from having no money in their bank account, wives being sent to mental hospitals, cars being reposed. Once, their life's go to crap then they will start making mistake and you get catch one or two at a time instead of groups of them.
I would also recommend ranged attacks.

Back to matters at hand. I am all for giving false information to the police and taking this problem down with one fell swoop and a box of knock out gas.

We could cripple their lives etc but I don't think we even need to go through all those lengths.

Get them in a room, suck out the air/gas grenades and have ranged support as back-up.

I think William Johns, Aaron and myself could be just the ranged support we need.

Anyone else who knows how to use a ranged weapon let me know. I have a spare ranged melee weapon if needed.

Once we have them incapacitated we can question them and find out everything we need to know and make sure this problem doesn't spread.

Does anyone have access to gas grenades? Mortals are mortals. And I'd rather not kill the holy paladins and incur gods wrath if possible. Perhaps we could convert them to our side.
