She nods. "Okay, so we have some leads, but they've gone cold with some loose ends that need tied up, especially since you all don't know wher the Ba'ali source is. I'm happy to talk to others, but you might need to hook me up with them - I just sorta wandered here, so I'm not sure who all I'd need to talk to besides your Baron. Going to the actual locations will help, too."

She looks horrified at the 'blood bank' and 'wight children' references. She grits her teeth and says simply "If any of those remain, then I agree we need to find them as soon as possible."

She sighs at his apologies and questions about Clan - she seems used to these questions. "I've shared my perceptions with a few from here," she says by way of explanation. "My sensations are different from yours - mixed, more open, more abstract.. I'll show you if you want (tapping her forehead), but considering your discomfort with Ashes, I'll guess you won't want to let me in and I won't be offended. As for my Clan...my blood is moonlit still, and always will be. But I am more than that, now - by adoption, by challenge and by evolution. I will show you, but keep in mind that the others around us will not see this."

She does not drop her Mask 1k - that would be a Masq breach here - but she does relent to Eric at this point so that HE can see her form beneath the Obfuscate. A small set of horns protrude from beneath her hood, and she also has bright yellow wolf's eyes. Her forehead has an unhealed burn mark the size of a quarter, where a third eye should be.

Who is this girl, really? Does she really have the answers? Can she even really, dare I think, be trusted? She means well, she has good cause. Guess I'll just wait and see...

She silently meets his gaze as he studies her. She shows no shame, or even pain, at his disgust. Her acceptance has just a tinge of pride and defiance - strange that a wolf's eyes can be so expressive.

"I could explain, but some things are beyond words, and the tale is not for this intersection of time-space in the tapestry. As for who and what I really am...I am flux. It is enough to say that even we can change and be changed, and that everything has a price. You don't have to let me in to show you, and you don't have to call me anything but Piscin. The name suits me better than the title, anyway. When and if you want to know, ask me how I earned the name from Clan Gangrel. It might be a place to start."

Her voice, which was never hostile so much as defensive, softens.

"In the meantime, I'm here to help. And from the sounds of it, you could use it."

She gives him a half-smile, adjusting her crouch on the railing so that she seems to be both reclining and also ready to pounce - a feral position, to be sure, yet somehow comfortable for her.

"No problem. Rockland's done Bloomsburg more than a few good turns, and I'd help against the Ba'ali just for the asking. Fuckers need to stop chanting, so maybe the nightmares will stop burning..."

A pause. "Would you be more comfortable if I hid my form from your perceptions again?"

OOC - How do you want to handle investigation stuff? PMs with Bruce? Bring others into this thread first? Emails?

After turning back from inviting Faye to their conversation, she smiles warmly at Eric's response and accepts a cigarette.

"I am proud of it, and normally only hide it in public...I'm glad you understand that." She pauses to light the cigarette. "It was many tests and challenges over many years to earn these changes to my form, and there will be many more before my time is done. Everything has a price."

Piscin looks back to where the coyote ran off, and then follows Eric inside. She looks at the TV screen like everybody else, and starts scratching absently at her arms, and blinking in rapid succession. She's obviously disoriented.

Faye arrives at the patio, looking around for where everyone went. She turned back up to the forest, trying to spot Morgan, hoping he wasn't angry. She heard the noise inside and went to investigate...

Piscin doesn't return until the next night (Wednesday). Those who were with her for last night's "adventure" will notice that she's pulled herself together considerably. She has bathed and washed her clothes, and seems considerably more calm. Her Mask is back up to cover her form while in the bar, and she perches on the patio, staring at the river, just like she did the night before. Her expression is distant, haunted, a bit haggard.

As he passed from the false light of the bar the moon would catch his right eye, an eerie green glow flickering across it quickly before fading. Stepping up next to her he would offer an as of yet unlit smoke, looking out across the water himself. "Well, you look a damn sight better than when we first met."

He orders a beer, Coors light and then walks around the bar speaking with some of the patrons and bikers as he did the previous night. After some socializing, including bar jokes involving a kid, a Santa and a vampire, he walks over to the dart board and picks up some darts to toss:

She pauses to light it, staring out over the water for a few long moments.

"Sorry I flipped out some, but it kinda comes with the whole Seer territory. The deeper you go...and that consciousness was not a pleasant one to share."

Another pause.

"They were children, Cyrus. I mean I have Seen, and even done, some truly fucked up things...but that - that was an abomination."[/i]
