Puppet Prince wasn't so readily available when we began this game, but is catching on tremendously throughout the country.

It allows players to update their own sheets. Personal messages to other users, and an IC/OOC journal option which most games use for EOGs.

Problem A:
Players can magic pencil. No one likes a cheater, but we all know it could happen.

Problem B:
Extra work on the ST's behalf. We will never stop using Grapevine, and all characters that need to travel will still always need an offical copy from the STs.

Advantage A:
Assuming you are not cheating, you can utilize puppet prince to keep your up to date character on the web with easy access from most phones and anywhere w/ internet.

Advantage B:
I will make it a point every 2-3 months to review all characters on our puppetprince and verify via journal comments your sheets. Meaning your EOG submitted a week before you travel to springfield may not have been processed, but if players are ok with using sheets a month or so behind they will be considered valid, as long as i have authorized them, and no changes have been made since i authorized them.

I say this ought not even be up for vote. Players have been proven to be untrustworthy. Cheating can be done twice so with these new options. NO non staff should be able to see a sheet that is not their own. No non staff should be able to edit a sheet without HST approval.

On PP, only the player and Staff may view sheets, they have not yet fixed the situation where players can modify sheets, but is apparently in the works. I've messaged the moderators, and they are looking towards "allowing players" to post xp and xp expenditures, but setting up a notification system that shows the ST exactly what was done and allow the staff to moderate as they see fit.

If you goto the UTR PP site, it strictly states it is not offical, but there for people to store pcs. Until any thing changes it is still unofficial.

Oh and White-wolf announced its E-Tools module that is coming out very soon, that can be used for TT and MET, Old WOD and New WOD.
(Man are they trying to bribe us back)

Really?!?
I was just going to RE: at Zack Kage about players in UTR being a trustworthy and honerable bunch; and unless proven otherwise should be given benefit of the doubt when claiming to have learned this or that or owned this or that or attended here or there.
I'm still worried I'm going to be out like 10 games worth of exp and cash accumulation only because it sounded like the claim was my word isn't good enough since anyone claim anything.

It's not the worst thing though. Conclave was apperently heald a month early this year and is already over, so I don't really need to buff my sheet anymore and can do it the long way over the course of another year; but I'd still like EXP and cash for my existence over the course of the previous year.
Well this whole bit was tangent, let me get back to actual reply...

I suppose, but you can rule PC's can't be posted before HST aprroval/stamp, but that we can post our NPC sheets on PP just for the sake of making them and then edit once staff clears them. I've still got ghoul wrtieups in the works and like a place to post drafts and maybe respond to comments.

I agree a normal player shouldn't be able to see other players sheets as even subconsciously, metagaming will enter into play.

Again, I'd like to edit the sheet (mine) then present it to staff for approval. It would IMHO cut down on time between updates as staff and player can look over sheet at same time and chat on internet about it; i.e. make/schedual appointments for online meeting.

Sometimes it's better to get to updates sooner than to have to wait 30 days for updated sheet as if we play in other games, we'd like to boost our character in time for those games.
