What with the Enderon Plant shutting down, and the lack of support from both state and federal government, this county that was booming a year ago has seen a very swift decline in recent times. Shops in the palisades mall have been going out of business, as well as many restaurants and local small businesses suffering to keep their doors open. The recession may be over by national economists but unless something is done soon, local governments may begin to face bankruptcies.
