As I said, I've seen 2 LARP's (One of which I was close friends with the ST) get into legal issues with White Wolf... It's sort of a personal thing with me, if anyone is held liable, it's me since I made the forums. I normally like to be nice and accommodate everyone's needs and make everyone feel at home... But I'm just gonna take a page from Ilana's book this one time learn to be the bad guy here.

Drew, I understand what your saying, and will work on getting this information up in a non rights infringing way. This will be a monumental amount of work, so I ask for your patients. Please feel free to post short writeups of what you want to see in a new thread called "reference guide topics" an I will explore them at my leasure. We will ha e a comprehensive list up, but it will take time, as I am volunteering my services an time to do this. Again I appretiate all input, and must respect Nicks wishes in this matter.

All you need to do is write the FIXES without writing the rules listed in the book to match. (Ex. On pg. 983498 of Laws of the Night under Blah, change the second dot of the influence to "Blah")

Once you write the rules along with the modified rule, that's where the problem is. Fixes to the rules (Which is what me and Ilanna will be doing this weekend) is perfectly fine.

I got a bounce message from my attempt to send you the toreador genre packet, and I can't seem to get my eog 's through to illana. I'm going to run diagnostic and stuff, and try again from seperate adresses, and IP's (library, breadstore, etc.)

Please be extremely careful about posting what may be copywritten material.

There is a game in the Org that just recently got into a lot of trouble for this; they had copies of the books on their forums. If I'm remembering right (and "Quincy" can correct me since he's Geoff, the AHC1), the original HST has been Banned from OWBN, the subsequent HST was recieved 2 Strikes (a 3rd and he's banned) and it was discussed though not passed ejecting the entire game from the Org.

So please be extrmely careful about posting what could be legally protected materials. Even some of the Packets aren't confirmed as being "clean" yet.

White Wolf is touchy about their Intellectual Properties (as well they should be). The org's stance is disciplinary actions for any games that reprint any sort of copyrighted WW material, specifically to the individual(s) who put up said info.

There is the Dark Spiral Rules that WW has for us that allows some reprinting, which is how we're able to produce our packets for White Wolf. Give 'em a read over for how websites, derivative works, etc. are supposed to work.
