or we could play around with the phrase "the valley of the shadow of death" since it is often taken as an allusion to the eternal life given by Jesus, and vampires are all eternal like. Can you tell I'm bored yet? _________________ A Knight Shall Defend Anarch Ideals Till The End!

Or we could splinter our own game and have Orange be a separate game within our game. We could even get a really terrible st to run it and throw the characters that visit Orange into the umbra. Oh wait, that's already been done. Darn. _________________ A Knight Shall Defend Anarch Ideals Till The End!

What about letting vampires die and then come back to life? We should do this multiple times to multiple characters npcs and pcs alike in the true spirit of the game. |

In all seriousness, I actually don't mind the idea of adding an adjunct game to UTR so we can run-biweekly. If Orange is anarch only and Rockland is Camarilla/Sabbat/Setite/Giovanni/Assamite/Indygangrel/Garou/etc.
We have enough potential for 2 seperate games. The origonal simple direct classic UTR in Rockland i.e. no territories, possibly no gangs, Masons are the clan elders, they give orders to us, we obey (@ST's, can we still have havens/holdings?); Versus Orange, the newer version of UTR, an experiment to create a 'modern' 'status perfuectus' with elder-free government for the most part and gangs and territories.
We can use UTR classic to experiment a bit more with multi-genre gaming without the internal politics problems, and use UTR modern to experiment with other things. House rules modifications perhaps? For example, unlike Rockland, Orange actually does have a milllitary base at west point. I know some folk who'd like to try gaining influence there.

I don't know if I made it clear in my report to Allura, but just in case:
Yohan and James never died. We didn't pull their souls out of hell and put them in a new body like what was done with wiggs. Yohan and James entered hell 'alive' via a vortex to guard the black cross until we could figure out how to finally destroy it. This past game a team went into hell alive, to fetch them back so they wouldn't be permanantly trapped there when we finally seal the tear in reality that alows voticies to so easily be opened in the area. Namely, when we sanctify the remains of the civil war era soldiers whose ghosts are otherwise trapped and destroy the ship (a psychic? anchor point?). We need to kill the last infernalist George Anders too, so he doesn't stir the pot while we are about the task.
So far, Wiggs is the only charater to actually have have died and been resurected.

Guys...Fellas, As much as I would love two games running in the week, I don't think were thinking realistic here. I feel this way because the STs are busy as it is, and it would be kinda unfair to force a second game for them to run by the month. Plus, I can not imagine by the nature of the Kindred that the other gangs, the elders and all those other things to just stay in Rockland to begin with. What is probably going to happen is that their will be games in Orange County and their will be games in Rockland. _________________ OOC: Edward Rylands |

Well, if we do two games I presume some more AST's will be needed; and/or narrators.
Just a thought though.
I still miss the genuinely cam-lite version of the game. _________________ "My Girls is clean and kind spirited".

She also jumped into hell alive, got corrupted while in hell, and came back with the rest of the demons when the hellmouth opened.
Actually, I'm a tad disapointed we didn't rescue Mary while we were down their this time. Unless she got let out and we're going to have to fight her too s. _________________ "My Girls is clean and kind spirited".

Can you actually be alive in hell? Sounds like a curious concept. |

Well on the one hand, alive bein a reletive term regarding vampires.
On the other hand in direct answer to your question:
"Give him a week and Chuck Norris would be running the place. "
and an even worse joke...

Or an unsoakable, green flame bolt of agg to the knee for that matter. You can be alive in hell as a vampire by however means you enter it, until you become corrupted or killed within the hour or moment you set foot there. Also Drew, I wouldn't be surprised in the slightest if this game suddenly became sabot-lite with the influx of sabot pcs as of late. _________________ "Grrr...we're warriors, Kakarot. I thought the game was gonna run like it always had, and the boundary between Orange county and Rockland county was just for mortal and gang distinction. It really shouldn't inhibit where we go in a given night story-wise. _________________ "You said you use Nosferatu as a storyteller device, but I haven't seen any of them." |

The game will not splinter, it will not go sabbat, there will be no satellite games.
We are entertaining the concept of "Hudson Valley Freehold" because westchester did in fact cede more turf, we're just not telling yet
