from Robert Crosby:
New Orleans Bound Enthusiasts,
Thank you for your patience. As many of you are aware our initial Grand Masquerade hotel sold out in record time and it's been our goal to find a companion property that meets our very high level of standards and expectations on every level. This process has taken a little longer than expected due to the level of thorough detail we went through in our review process But at this time we are ready to announce our second property for The Grand Masquerade will be the The Royal Sonesta New Orleans
Located one block away from the Hotel Monteleone in the heart of the French Quarter on world famous Bourbon Street, the Royal Sonesta Hotel New Orleans displays a timeless elegance and refinement reminiscent of its European counterparts. With traditional gabled windows, French doors and wrought-iron lace balconies, the hotel is distinctively European and unmistakably New Orleans. Often referred to as the "Jewel of the French Quarter", the Royal Sonesta New Orleans offers great choices in dining and entertainment. With beautifully appointed guest rooms and suites offer the ultimate in luxury, comfort and amenities and make this one of the most authentic New Orleans French Quarter hotels. One of the four premier Vieux Carre Collection diamond French Quarter hotels, the Royal Sonesta is the perfect companion property to the Hotel Monteleone for an ideal World of Darkness experience at The Grand Masquerade.

Unless my comp's internet is lying to me, the Royal Sonesta now holds no vacancy for the game dates.
Which is a real bummer considering I really wanted to go...
Maybe there's another conveniently located hotel another block down? _________________ "Grrr...we're warriors, Kakarot. Not ballerinas!" - Vegeta to Goku in hell; before fusion dance.

Albert, might be your cpu, i just reserved a double bed suite.
W/ Tax thats $350.00 for Thurs night, Fri night, and Sat.
I'm looking into flights soon, my pref is to leave thurs morn, arrive thurs afternoon for opening announcements. And leave Sunday morning on a red eye or slightly later to arrive back in NY by sunday afternoon/evening the latest.
IF anyone wants to bunk/share flights i'd be more than happy to in an effort to alleviate costs. But this needs to be book stat, and deposits need be made towards my credit card that everything is gonna be on. |
