I Alura, Baroness of Rockland in Oct 2010, hereby declare that each Anarch and every who is living in Rockland gets their own territory and domain.

Your haven, any properties you own, and a piece of property of your choosing will be your own personal domain.

You will have all personal rights over said domain.

Each domain shall not exceed 3 miles in square footage.

Rockland is 2000 square miles, this leaves ample room to grow for all anarchs.

All anarchs who take up residency here will also be able to get their own personal property.

No property is to overlap.

All territories are to be protected by everyone. Masquerade is to be covered by everyone. However the person owns his or her own castle.

Any existing territories will not be impeded upon.

You have no right to personally own more than 3 square mile - this will prevent fighting over land.

Should you own more than 3 square miles, you will be expected to defend it and protect it without outside help.

Should you already own domain you will not get extra territory above the 3 mile limit.

If you'd like to have members of your gang help defend your territory that is your own free right.

Territory is not to be impeded upon by others and will be give out on a first come first serve basis.

As a reminder, do not tell anyone where your haven lies, and you may still own a haven outside of your own territory. (This haven will not be consider your domain for said purposes.)

You didn't like this idea. Other people did. This still allows the gang system. Be thankful I handed you to your sire and you're out of torpor... again. If you're going to challenge me, speak to me privately.

Who? Name, or describe them to me.

This still allows the gang system.
Yet creates an additional system. One both chaotic and unneccesary; and one you only want to use for an excuse to have the whole community be the executive cabinet, instead of having a real cabinet with division of labour amongst leaders of groups. A real governmet.
In college we ditched a direct democracy students union for a beurocratic republican senate system too. Even young mortals saw the folly in the former system; and it was a very liberal college.

Billy was on the fence about it.

That is 3 to 3, with 1 abstaining.

Hence you didn't listen to half of the people you were talking to. Close your mouth and open your ears and you'll hear a lot more. While you were arguing your points I was listening to the masses.

50/50 is not in your favor.

I do suggest you pick your land quickly. As it will be on a first come, first serve basis. What's done is done. Now everyone is a land owner. This is how America is supposed to be and how Anarch tradition rules.

I will not go by Cam traditions. Just because they're been in existence forever does NOT make them right.

We'll just have to agree to disagree. This puts both systems into existence. Everyone wins. We're not here to control people. Free will is about equality and working together. This promotes both.

The Warehouse belongs to Ashes as it's his personal property.

Unless ashes comes back into play, I don't think that is an issue.
For all we know ashes is really dead.
Or hes a setite now,
or he's over the bend so completley as to no longer be competent enough to deal with "property".
I don't really remember exaclty what happened to him.

Nevertheless, Side of Fries has taken the Hillbilies Niche. The warehouse district is in it (OOC: yes?), So Billy/Side of Fries, gets to decide which gang members get what in their own territory. If Ashes wants to, he can join Side of Fries, then/and/or contest V's claim himself.
As V is I think the only other (OOC: Anarch PC) Malkavian in towne right now, do you think Ashes really would have a problem with V 'inherriting' the warehouse? Versus it being left fallow and useless while V wants to do something productive with it?

The warehouse is known as Ashes' warehouse.

Find out what happened to Ashes.

If he's passed away, (He wasn't listed in the census.) and no one else has claim over it then it'll be yours.

I think you two are are mixing up eachothers comments.
@Allura: V wants to declare the warehouse district as territory, not Ashes own warehouse.

@V: OOCish: The actual forum currenty labled as "Warehouse District" was formerly labled as "Ashes Warehouse". It was single building only, and the UTR's innitial and only IC forum where kindred could post things like "Looking for a fortitude teacher; willing to trade Auspex" as a sticky post it square on an IC bulletin board inside. It was Vampire only location so no risk of masq breeches. As such, we used to hold all of our innitial gatherings there (though occasionally, the gallery and the moonlight lounge were also used).

At some point, it was closed down and the other IC boards were opened, but they are mutual mortal/kindred locations and in populated parts of town. so we couldn't really speak of supernatural things outright (unless specifying the thread occurs in a private room) or ...play nines, get slammed around by angry brujah, etc. without having to deal with breech issues.

Ashes owns that specific warehouse (which is still referenced in the forum).
The district itself, if presumably in Wesly Hills (@ST's, Is it ?) was part of Hillbilly's territory; currently, Side of Fries Territory.

If this is so, then it already has been granted to your gang. Side of Fires may divvy up responsibility over that township however they see fit to. That is, your gang can put you in charge of the warehouse district now that it has domain rights over the township the district exists in. You no longer have to appeal directly to the barony unless you are seeking holdings somewhere outside of the domain granted to your gang.

Even so, the specific warehouse that Ashes happen to own is still his.
Similarly, for example, we (toreador) technically "own" the antrim playhouse, but it sits in your gangs territory. Such things lead to interesting plot when we are not otherwise dealing with enemies trying to kill us. It means deals need to get made or deeds to change hands, etc.

All of this by the by isn't even half as camlike / "cam-lite" as it could be.
If I were in charge, I would have assigned domains by clan, not gang, and gangs would need the permission of the local clan-leaders to operate within those domains. Wesly Hills would be Malk territory and you'd need to approve of Side of Fries, Council of the Rose, et al, having holdings in the area.

If'n you want to discuss political philosophy with me though I suggest we move inside; perhps to Samanatha's as I think it's the only place that hasn't been blown up yet. I'm getting bored only discussing political philosophy with Allura.

Fallen angles boarders are open to all anarchs, we will put you in a home and land , and you will never want. terms of agreement-you will help protect our boarders and protect anarchs from breach's and never commit one yourself. you will do what is asked in times of crisis.you will check in with simmon to get registered and place.

side note, if after a bit you feel safe to call this area your home, maybe youll want to help more then the basic.
