William had felt like he had been living under a rock for the last three months. They were universally powerful words that held great dominion in the realm of the Venture's dealings and those two were Quantitative and Easing. The Federal had announced another round pushing through early this season, with such that rates went crazy.

Had it truly been three months now? It almost seemed like a breath of a moment ago since the financial consul was in the basking warm summer evening where they were negotiating a new leader, a new direction. Results he had been cautionary and somber about.

Another time and another place.

The Venture arrived into the community theater, small and assuming yet as durable as a bunker. Several rows of chairs stood before him and the community stage stood before the simple looking man in neatly combed hair and a boringly ironed suit and tie. The dull, unvivid man had spread through word of mouth to any who would listen over the apparent wilds that had occur in the last three months.

The purpose of the meeting was simple, We need a plan.

Without a word he took a very simple seat at the edge of the stage. Perhaps someone would come, perhaps no one... He had all evening and as he waited he opened a laptop to inspect some important reports and articles.

::A somber man walks through the Theater's emergency exit and makes his way to sit next to William Bardonia. His poise firm, he reaches into his coat and takes out a tablet and stylus. He peers over his shoulder to see what Mr. Bardonia may have been perusing and smiles slightly.::

"William, you are by far one of the best things that ever came of my sister Isabella. I will sit with you. We will wait. Perhaps some Anarchs of the Hudson Valley will join us, for the area is indeed in jeopardy and things need to be done."

::Mr. D. begins tapping his stylus, awaiting more to show up::

William lifted his dull eyes to a familiar presence and voice. A somber man was now at his side fiddling with a tablet. The venture was introvert impressed, for one as old as Mr. D he still had a rather ingenious command of modern technology.

"Indeed."

He answered simply and precisely somewhat frugal for words and compliment though the words aforementioned with addressed with a silent and venerated nod of his head. It was only moments later when the Camerillain Mercenary arrived in after casting his glance at the two. Another layer of complexity as William looked upon the neighbors who could be plotting their very destruction.

Two have arrived, two more than he believed would and with that the well composed and dignified man spoke once more.

"The both of you know why I asked this meeting to take place. Our shared community be we Anarchs, Camerillains; is under dire distress by the hands of determinants that are beyond kindred definition. Of such agents, the three I hope that gain our attention the most tonight are 'the Fomori' a trio of somewhat mutated mortal beings possessing dangerous powers rooted in an almost alien source of evil; The Black Spiral Dancers, a pack of extremely dangerous werewolves that have marked most of the gatherings as their prey; and this apparent Dream Eater who is making our cognition very real function."

"I'm also quite concerned with the Mortal State of Affairs. As a result of this war we seem to have attracted unwanted, and unnecessary government agencies whom have usurped local agencies because of this "war" we seem to be having. "

William returned his attention to the other. Mortals, such an alien word in another time at life so casually used now. So strange that what seemed like a pass of a moment ago he too knew what it was like to breath fresh air, to feel the warm rays of the sun grace skin. The matter at hand... for the Venture did not risk to be lost in thought.

"That is an aftereffect on a matter that I personal feel is rather important. It is far too dangerous to negotiate with these powers and then let them be as they were for they are not of a party which we can put our trust or faith in.

Reduction of dissonance in Mortal panic to shield off the worst of response would be what I favor. I have a good friendship with some lenders in a particular area in Orange County. My ambitions were to allocate that friendship into a wealthy advantage for the cause. This month though I may instead ask them to sway into lobbying into politics, to begin to get an understanding of whom candidate and office holder supports what action.

If we have a better understanding of the governmental response, we will have a better means to curve it."

Nox ponders whot was said then raises his gaze to those in attendance.
The spirals live in a corrupted spirtual land. Such land is valuable if redeemed by the normal furry balls of death. Any weakening of the spirals will embolden the other wolves to attack and eventually retake the land whether we encourage such action or not. I assume that we are not interested in holding the territory but rather eliminating the threat. If this is the case, perhaps a joint venture between competing corperations to eliminate a common competitor could be arranged. Get the lupines to assist and distract while we acheive our true goal. Plus it would weaken some of their fighting force as well. A precious commodity amongst a kind that must birth and wait years before having a replacement soldure. Such a thing buys you more time. You would have to steer such negotiations in such a way where the lupines would belive that a joint venture at this time would allow them to acheive a goal that other wise would cost them much more. Make The risk seem less so that the reward is more tempting.

Nox starts to slowy pace around the room while keeping eye contact with those present.

I have led invasions into such territories and trust me, you will need more soldures! Say to lupines that you wish to eliminate the spiral threat due to their constant incursions into your territories. This is in itself a true statement. Once in and amongst to chaos of battle, a spec ops squad can make its way to the crystal and destroy the damned thing. Of course all this requires intel which in of itself is quite tricky. GAngrel fly overs, brain rape of captive spirals, all that crap will be needed. Also you would somehow need to peacefully contact and speak with the lupines, I recomend a hearty and fast gangrel for this task.

Nox takes a seat at the table.

You mention the mutant humans. They are possessed by corrupted spirits of nature. If they are around then your problem is much worse then just the spirals . You will need to look into companies that hold the land the spirals are on and perhaps the neighboring land as well. Look to see if any political action has ben taken with reguards to the land in question. Are there any security firms hired to patrol the surroundin area? Perhaps the police are told to avoid the area, who ordered that? Maybe a news story was killed, who killed it? Are there any strange shipments brought near by? There is definetly somthing larger helping the spirals. In the domain of Westchester it was the Westchester Medical Facility. It had all kinds of crazy crap going on and it was connected to all the mutant humans and spirals in the territory. Their own little front company.

Nox then taps the table with his index finger as to stress the following.

If you hit the spirals without identifying the greater command and control structure then you leave yourself wide open for a surprise counter offensive at a later date that you will not be ready for.

He leans back in his chair and looks to those around the table.

Just bouncing ideas around. What say you?

(Lawl no table was actually set up XD, this meeting is just taking place at the community theater.)

The Venture listened, pondering each word from the other carefully.

"The last I can agree with, as it seemed there was a power at work within the Quarry these lupines seem guarding extracting something that should not. My question to ponder though is you kept mentioning 'spirals'. Were you referencing to the Black Spiral Dancers? Perhaps something more insidious?"

It was needless to say, the financier's element was not grounded in lupines and crystals.

Just then Aaron walks in.

"-He meant Black Spiral Dancers, or BSD's.."

:Aaron nods to Nox, and briefly establishes eye contact with all others in the room for a courtesy greeting.

"Alan and i have been coordinating with some outside help on the matter. it is possible we may have a few Gangrel and possibly a Tremere to come aid us."

"I will need volunteers to stand on the front lines with me and Alan, Nox i assume i can count on you as well? The core assault group will need one more member (atleast) and a backup/ranged party will need to be formed, covering getaways, breeches, and providing cover fire. My office will provide the equipment if needed."

"I have most of the equipment we will need to get in, and possibly get out, but a formal plan and a formal meeting will need to be held once a bit more intelligence is gathered. (Once the St's create the Havana Cabana III thread) In a weeks time i should have most of that wrapped up. "

"I need to contact an old ally of mine to see if he can offer any insight from the technological perspective, perhaps there are some gadgets that can assist us...."

"Lastly i heard mention of working with Lupines. yes that is something that has already been considered. Alan will communicate with them and see if we can come to a mutually beneficial arrangement. i will keep you all abreast of this as it develops."

We are very short handed at the moment so im asking you all to do more with less. there is no telling where a good chunk of our regular members went, i suspect they are away on business, or are laying low until this whole thing blows over. either way we need to use the resources we have.

William quietly considered the words, he was more surprised to see Mr. D his uncle by this ancient fatrenity and bloodline suddenly volunteer. The man whom he had observed time and again to work behind the backgrounds took active role. This was indeed a serious and dire time.

"As am I."

He answered afterwards.

"I may be unassuming but I assure you like many things in our world that is a facade."

Well at least you guys got balls, the Cams would of created a committe to over see an investigatory panel that would of taken a poll on the whole matter.

Anyway, back to the issue at hand. You mentioned tech, please do not rely too greatly on modern technology as I have see the spirals as well as the wolves render it useles with only a gaze. Have a reliable contingency in place.

When you do decide to attack, might I suggest that you first draw away some of the enemy force. Perhaps some "shoot & Scoot" tactics. Let them think you've been routed and when they follow for the kill, your primary assult force can hit from the flank.

The Key here is to fight as few spirals as possible. The objective is the crystal not extermination. Keep on track, do what needs to be done, then get the hell out.

William remained straight faced at the comments made about such a rational and reasonable means to approach a situation. Prompting a snide brow at the comment made but no further emotional judgement from that.

"Once again I find myself ignorant of an apparently crucial bit of information."

The Ventrue exclaimed as he slowly and finally slid off the edge of the stage and regain his footing and composure.

"What is this Crystal you are referring to? And how will it help us with the elimination of the Spirals?"
