No, we wont. That's not how it works.
Either the entire community is the jury and we tabulate that many votes,
or else only the cabinet is the jury. The jury would thus be the ganglords specifically, or their duly appointed representetive.

Dude, your poll is wrong.
It says:
Should a lesser punishment...
Should only infernalist be death.
If you vote b, you say the other charges should not be capital offenses.
If you vote A you also say the other charges should not be capital offenses.
You should edit it to read as follows:
Infernalism is a capital offence
Infernalism and Treason are capital offenses
Infernalism and wilfully endagering the masquerade without a preset cover are Capital offenses.
Infernalism, Treason, and wilfull endagering the masquerade without a preset cover, are capital offenses.
This way, if he's found not guilty of infernalism, the vote tells you which other crimes people feel are and are not a capital offence.

no those are the poll qeustions i had. their my qeustion. and i read your mail and its not the job to prove these charges are innoccent ,, its the job of you to prove thats he ment to do it and you must prove his guilt. thats how court works, not you give charges and i must disprove them .. no you give charges and YOU must prove their correct charges. |

I said wednesday. Dude, this like one of 4 major issues on my plate that I am dealing with, so feet dragging has nothing to due with it nor suitability. Believe it or not, but this trial isn't actually my top priority. I've been busy with more important matters. At least I consider them more important.

What? I presume we are each investigating these circumstances. If he didn't do these things, then he's innocent. If he did, then its on you to 'prove' that despite having done these things, he's not guilty anyway because of some reasonable excuse such as insanity or whatnot. Is there still doubt as to whether or not he did the rest of them? I believe Billy had reported the day of the incident with the car about sniffles part in the matter. Folks can testify on either side about what they witnesssed, etc.

Fine. You'll need to prep a new set of charges against me for invasion of privaacy and wilful mental assult or what not, because I don't have the time or freely available resources at the moment for a forensics team to tell me so. I'm going to delve into that son of a bitches mind, deep as I can go, and find out whether or not he 'meant to do it'. Keep in mind he already admitted in front of witnesses about the children and 'being away' when whatever happened to his gang was going down.

I don't know how to 'prove' intent the way mortal courts do. I'm certainly not going to let incompetence on my own behalf lead to a childkiller walking free. Therefore I will determine intent by asking him directly in a manner which lying is very hard to get away with.

i have the tremere bringing a item to tell me if hes telling the truth.it turns black when he lies thats all i know. the malks embraced the kids he just wanted to keep them as pets instead of killing them. now you blame him for feeding addiction but thats what saved him form the infernals. mayeb he should never be gang leader for that vacation. but all gang leaders are required to be over their gangs shoulder all the time. so you know these rules you are imposeing ,after this trail will be put onto the rest of us.. thats to princeish ,dont push rules that have not been voted for on the anarchs. |

That's not what he said that night. He said "so what, aint no against it". If he was tryign to rescue/hehabilitate them, then so much th ebetter and my opinion of him will improve. Which rules. Name them.
I haven't used any 'new rules' at all.
Only the treaty of thorns, a half-millenia old established truce between anarchs and the camarilla that absolves us from having to follow the rest of the traditions as long as we agree to maintain the masquerade as sacrosanct. This has been the operation of this county for centuries and is all anarch, no princishness about it.
It IS against the rules, everyones rules except the sabbat: Anarch, Cam, or Independent, for the masquerade to be broken. You are not allowed to do that and get away with it. Whereever you are, whatever sect is charge other than sabbat. The masquerade is absolute. We already are very lax with observing this tradition in Rockland and tend to forgie people who do it by accident and/or have the means and willingness to personally cover the breech.
Someone who wilfully breeches with no plan to counter it, is threatening horrible death upon us all, let's not forget this just beause the hunters are yesterdays new for now. There are always more and the way to stay safe from them is to stay hidden from them.
That says nothing of actually pointing the hunters right at the gathering.

Dude, when I tell you about in that counts as asking permission. you get to say no. When one tries to force oneself in, one does not announce the fact in advance to the party in question. That would be foolish.
