mkay one of the samedi's decided to become an independent, i may reconsider the vote, i'm trying to see if it would be an anarch, in which case i would be cool voteing for it.

My vote remains no due to the same reason. The fact that there are TWO.Count em. TWO samedis that are new in the same game. Please correct me if I'm wrong on that count but that seems wrong on a couple of levels. One I would have been ok with but that two are being voted for sounds like the st in charge isn't giving them much thought. That's my two bits

Again, if it were me and I were looking for approval to play a ...brother of whateveritis that's the same bloodline as sisters of cacophony, I wouldn't want people telling me yes or no based on which IC political sect they do or do not happen to suppport.

Unless a certain character type would otherwise be imbalancing to the world itself;

i.e. there's only X number of those guys with 3 eyes, and you cna't have a new one unless an old one sires it then dies doing so;

I would hope anyone should recieve an automatic yes, to play whatever would make them happy to play, especially if they're home group/st has already okayed it. Recruitment and retention rates for newbies get boosted from people actually being allowed to play what they want to.

I know a folk or two who aren't playing UTR only because they were told no, they can't play an assamite, or no they cant play a tremere, or no they can't play a garou Wink

s (I think that was megan at one point.; she also has a wari she would use except the concept calls for martial arts background.)

@mark, how many samedi are allowed per game tops?
Does it count npc's? (Isn't yohan a samedi?; or am I thinking slug?)
Would this prevent a UTR based samadi?

To mark, the samedi's in question are in two different games, they just happen to be in Brazil, the one who is independent is in San Paulo by Night, SPbN. And the other one is in Calinta by Night.

Considering there is good response for this, and Drew i want people to play whatever they want as well, considering there is a great write up for the PC backstory, alot of effort works for me.

So in light of all this, i may just change the "no" vote to Abstain...let others figure it out.

Well I had thought they were in the same game so I thought that they were planning ooc for ic stuff but now I am mistaken. With that bit of information I would change my vote for that one
