Aaron's word were indeed comforting the mark of a friendly and skilled orator. The Ventrue lifted his eyes over to the man remaining rather straight faced as he took a fond moment to be flattered. Though critical thinking did take course right after.

"I am not afraid to admit I am not an expert in all fields. It is the very reason why I asked this question, a question which has not been answered and needs to be answered for the sake of understanding the significance of why we are going to risk our lives: What is this crystal and what connection does it have with the spirals?"

William would not be subverted with flattering words. This was an important matter and if certain information was being withheld then it would only hurt everyone in the long run.

Well William, its a bit like this;

The crystal is an object of power for the spirits... my investigation is not yet completed, but what I do know is that the black spiral dancers (bad furrys) are using our blood to strengthen the crystal, which in turn strengthens their lord known as a nexxus crawler.... no doubt each of these statements commands more questions, but I'll continue.... the nexus crawler resides in the realm of the Umbra, home to many wraiths and spirits, and a stomping ground for the lupines. I myself have visited many times, each against my will.... it is a dire place where normal rules do not apply.... the crawler feeds on the dreams of the people of Rockland draining them of their will, energy etc.... there will not be an effect on us in the forseable future, but these people will suffer and it will draw other attention to thecounty. We do not need that attention. Hunters, mages, others will seek answers ior power, either way we cannot allow this. Furthermore with the constant assault from the bsds we will always be vulnerable, and I cannot allow this to stand. I am in the process of reaching out to some experts who will send aid and help us resolve this issue, however we will need our forces here to stand united and act as a core group to push the efforts forward. I will give you more information as it becomes available....

In my experience, it is unwise to openly fight mortals who hunt the supernatural. Even if you win, more come to avenge their fallen and so on.

Normally, the best tactic is to just lay low and they will go away, honestly. However, in this case, I do not believe it is us that has drawn them, thus our laying low will have little to no effect.

So what did draw them here? Probably the same thing we are against. Does anyone have information on them, ie, numbers, ability level, etc? It is possible we can either point their attention elsewhere, or use them to assist us without their knowing, though I would be exteremely cautious over the latter.

What information do we actually have about them?

William had not noticed their elected leader arrive until a forth moment after she spoke. He turned from where he was along the stage, shifting his body to get a good gander. The last moments he had saw her was on the battlegrounds, not one of bullets or knives but rather votes and coalitions.

"Miss Jazz."

He spoke to her with a respectful bow of his head. Her words rung absolutely true, but the Ventrue fully believe the situation she was describing was not of the reality they were currently facing.

"How can you be so certain that the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms of the United States is a hunter savvy organization? Is it insoluble that the ATF have arrived looking for Arsonists, Arms Dealers and Boot Legger rather than kindred?"

My Investigation is now conclusive, it appears hat one of my shipments of arms meant to stock the armory for the purpose of better equipping our strong hold had been intercepted....

I have made necessary arrangements to secure this breach, this situation should soon be resolved. for now i have made arrangements to reemburst those who suffered loss of business due to this unfortunate incident. if anyone else has suffered monetary losses or damages to their property due to this i will cover those losses aswell.

"I accept full responsibility for this breach, and assure all of you that this incident will be resolved. my actions were fully within the scope of my responsibility to this city and its security, and i apologize for any inconvenience sustained as a result of my actions.

This being said, I am taking requests for weapons and armor already available and ready to be distributed to our regular members. consequently i am offering private training sessions to teach anyone willing to learn how to use any Firearms or Melee weapons. MMA training is also available for standard combat proficiency. this is a standing invitation for any who are interested contact me in private.

The ATF is not related in any way to the BSD's or the Nexus Crawler, i ask that we leave them alone and keep our illicit trade on the DL until i can finish resolving this issue.
