Crystal: I blame it on Lord of the Rings, I was watching my extended edition DVD's with my girlfriend and was like "FUCK! Now I gotta play something Fantasy-wise in a LARP!"

I'll make a post to start nailing down specifics after our game in May since the RoA LARP is the weekend after ours, see who's really gonna go, what we need in terms of costumes, items, car rides, blah blah blah.
There actually is a specific way to make boffer weapons, god I haven't done it in years, but my character is planning to use a NERF Crossbow  Teehee

First off, CONSOLIDATE YOUR DAMN POSTS WOMAN!!!!
Second, make sure you go through their website and the check list of what players should bring, especially stuff for staying the weekend.
Third, I don't know if they have loaners, so maybe a day of "build your own weapon" might be in hand... Just make sure you'll build a character that can use a sword first
