"The freedom to act as we see fit. Bound only by the chains we make ourselves, and the strength of our word. We derive our power from a community of individuals, rather then the ossified structure of the Camarilla trickling down power from on high, or the liberal use of the Kool-Aid by the Sabbat. We can adapt and overcome. Ultimately, they cannot.

And how would you define what it means to be an Anarch?"

:Eric acknowledges the Travelers display of 'vague' knowledge and looks content with the answer he's given him:

"To be an Anarch...that's a very good question. I think in my experience as someone who's lived well over several dozen decades of his life, I've certainly had lots of time to be an Anarch for many lives over. But this is what I've come to find:

Being an Anarch constitutes use of full moral and dignified structure of living, or in our case undead, individuals who strive to assimilate the necessary course of actions for the common good. It is someone who rallies the outcry of the common kindred, someone who lends their aid to another fellow kindred; someone who simply wishes to be heard to make him/her self visible to those amassed in order to remain invisible in this unforgiving world. An Anarch takes many forms: a gang-leader, a warlord, a priest, a poet, a scholar, a militant, an enforcer, a sweeper, a warrior, a bourgeoisie, a proletarian, a childe, a sire, an elder, and a Baron. An Anarch has little to lose and much to give as those who respond well in the movement follow in his example. An Anarch is at the mercy of liberty and to his free will to condone what he pleases to contribute or deny cause to his movement. I've found that those who follow such structure in the end, all will get what they deserve."

:He swigs a drink:

"Being an Anarch is like being an American: pride in justice, liberty and freedom; only ascended."

"True enough. There are many Anarchs with whom I disagree, but only in the Movement do I have the freedom to not support them in their decisions. I truly believe in the common good. Not everyone does."

:Nodding in agreement:

"Not everyone does, it's true. And not everyone is going to jump on this bandwagon of 'let's support Joe Merck and his merry bad of Neonates as they go seek and destroy themselves before Elder-thalamus himself.' You're always going to have those who are loyal to the cause and those who oppose it but with the decisive or non; everyone's still in-part of the movement."

:While staring at the barkeep refilling his drink:

"You know, I wish I could say that we've had our 'regular' nights to our conflict ones...but that's just an understatement. Truth be told, I sincerely wish that once, just once there could be a normal, peaceful gathering: some anarch politics, maybe a game of nines; no wraiths, no dancers, no problem!"

:His eagerness fades as he is handed his drink and turns to face Traveler:

"But that's just wishful thinking...there's always something going on that makes the night cry foul. Our work is never done. Kinda makes me yearn for the good times where I could just go to my favorite bar and have my favorite drink..."

:Eric sighs as if pouting in oblivion:

"I hear ya. Too much violence, too much pain. We attract it-it's part of what we are."

*Traveler grins*

"Though, I might be able to give you an hour or two in your favorite bar and your favorite drink...sort of. Want in?"

:Smugly as the oblivion escapes him:

"But...isn't that what we're sort of doing...now?"

:Laughs, pauses:

"By all means, friend. Absolutely."

:Raises glass:

"Cheers. Although, I have to apologize. The bar is usually more festive at this hour. Can't win em all, I guess."

:swig:

"Still, I commend you giving me the time of nite to listen to our issues, though I imagine you certainly have your fair share of em. Where is that you hail from Traveler? Or at least where your last stay was."

"If you have a favorite place, even long ago and far away...I can replicate it from a description for a little while. The more detailed the better, and memories work best, if you have a telepath. Bit of a hobby of mine.

Anyways, Niagara Falls, Ontario is where I keep coming back to these days. It's under the aegis of the Buffalo Camarilla, but they're...extremely permissive. We've had a rough patch of late, but I think it's getting better. There's a grand total of three of us there, so it's been difficult, but not too bad."

:Trance look of thought:

"I've had a favorite place once, a long time ago far away from here...and it was beautiful. Still is I imagine, but can scarcely remember...they were more like favorite places I once lived in as I'm piecing together images into this one giant jigsaw opus. But that was a very, very long time ago..."

:He is silent for a while:

"Three Anarchs, huh? I suppose y'all need to get on fixing that. These Camarilla from Buffalo, do they permit the existence of the Movement as well?"

:Lights cigar:

"Or are we all now just in underground?"

"I can even do places that have never been, if you like. That may be fun!

They allow the Movement. Hell, we have a city all our own-we have been "lent" Niagara Falls for our purposes, though Prince Solomon still claims overall ownership of it. We also have a Brujah elder who claims a small town south of Buffalo as his own. The Camarilla was pissed about that...but they have nobody who can contest it from him, so they ended up declaring it his to save face."

"Perhaps some other time...you can hardly imagine the monstrosities and terrors that could procreate the mind and astral realms. But I'll keep your suggestion in mind."

:He frowns at the word Prince:

"Prince Solomon?! Sounds like someone from the post sovereignty of the biblical era of monarchistic demons and their acolytes. Who are the Cam to say what right they have to claim ownership over domain and structure based on what? A piece of paper? Polished Politics?? Convenience???"

:He is visibly fuming, ceases:

"I wish I could shake the hand of that Brujah who took the initiative to claim what is his based on his balls. I'd love to see the Cam attribute any of their claim based upon that."

"Stop by sometime-I'll introduce you to Rex. As for the Cam, they're dicks, but they're proactive dicks. They just got done adding half of Southern Ontario to Buffalo's land...by murdering every single Sabbat out of Toronto that resisted. At least 50 of them, so the story goes. So...by the strength of murdering anyone who says differently?"

[Nox leans forward from the shadows]

Princes rule from Praxis, He who can rule shall rule. True princes have balls, power, and courage...most though are puppets of the elders. They also must lie constantly and pretend to be civil while the beast rips at their innerds. That is why you think of them as two face cowards. They say one thing due to protocol and ettiquet while they mean another. Noko stepped down from being a prince cause she realized this. She killed all the Sabbat that needed killen and decided being a Prince was no longer fun. It was better to be true to your beast then present a facade.

[Nox gets up and stumbles forward, his mug spills a bit of ale. He then sits besides the others. The smell of a strong brew can be easily detected.]

Scew 'em, look what loyal service got me! Saved how many of their asses from assination. Defeted how many packs. Defended the harshes borders of Westchester and NYC for how many years. What did they give me...a pat on the back...might as well of been a pat on the damn head.

[Nox pauses for a moment]

Don't get me wrong, their are some good individuals in the Cam. Strong of heart and open minded, but the status quo.....screw it. Damn racisist oppress me cause of my spiritual beliefs. Cast accusitory glances when I enter a room. Whisper about me behind my back.

[Nox swigs his drink and laughs]

I seek a home where I can be free amongst friends and what do I find? That most Anarchs are just Cams without the order. So much for libertas, eh?

[Nox looks down into his drink. A snarl can be seen as his hands tighten around his drink. He looks over at the traveler.]

Plasma balls?!? Ha! My friend you have definetly entered a new realm of wierd. I mean, I have pulled people from hell and even I must admit that robots with lasers are friggen weird!

[Nox waves to the bar keep and motions twords the others. Shortly there after mugs of a strange ale are placed in front of those kindred present.]

Please friends, drink. A bit of my personal stash.

:Eric leans over to Nox:

"Well Nox for your services, you know that I don't give you a 'pat on the back' no sir. You and Noko are payed appropriately and should you find yourselves near our gatherings are a most welcomed guests there...but I believe your perceptions of Anarchs are a bit warped."

:He resides originally:

"Francois and the Masons granted libertas to all those Anarchs during the first Anarch revolts. Even now, they are seeking to annihilate any and all limitations of freedom as far and further as possible. The Camarilla have to recognize us as being an Independent sect, even if just a reminder. As do the Sabot, who as of late have not been playing ball. In fact, they're becoming a real nuisance, as we no doubt witnessed last month."

:Picks up drink:

"I realize at times we may seem like a Camarillan gathering to those taking an objective stance, what with our petty politics and nuance quarrels, but by the thick of it and at dusk til dawn, we remain loyal to our cause as freedom fighters and as the defenders of the representation we hold most dear: the life of liberty and pursuit of our free will."

:Raises glass: "I'm damn proud to be an Anarch and I'm damn proud to play my role in this indivisible movement that will work to defend that cause to their dying breath! I'm content to be in proper, genuine company and hope we can all share stories and continue to live as long as time permits it."

"Gentlemen, a toast to our successes! TO FREEDOM!!"

:Drinks:
