A young man in his early 20s is seen entering the bar. Buying a beer, he concentrates on it for a moment, then sits back at the bar, watching the people around him.

::He sits down right at the table of the stranger, pulls out a tablet to type notes on, though careful glance probably shows he's just playing Angry Birds::

"Good evening traveler. My name is Deidrick Bardonia. You may call me D. What brings you here and where do you normally hail from?"

"Evening, folks. I'm the Traveler. I'm from Niagara Falls-I'm here because reality is busy being a little...permeable back home. I thought I'd recover a bit before giving another stab at solving the problem. Haven't been here yet, so I figured I'd take a look around.'

::Eric stares at the stranger somewhat perplexed and rather annoyed by D's intrusion but pays little mind to the actions of the sweeper. He raises his drink and takes a swig::

"That's a bit ways from home to be taking some R&R here Traveler. But in any case, cheers. I hope whatever problem you're inquiring about isn't going to somehow worm it's way over here. It's not serious...is it?"

"I tend to wander a bit, when I can. As for serious...it's hard to say. It seems to be affecting our Buffalonian neighbors more then us, which I'm OK with. They seem to have the problem well in hand, so I've been focusing on protecting the innocent. I'm pretty sure the effects won't reach here unless something REALLY strange is going on-you haven't had giant robots shoot plasma at you, zepplins flown by madmen become popular and...normal overnight, or a stream of people who seem to dislike you due to unpleasent personal history that never quite happened, have you?"

"Ya know, we've certainly had our fair share of crises: otherworldly wraiths and haunts, demons from hell and infernalists who seek to end the realm of the living...just scratching the surface of all this freaky voodoo type shit. As for the really strange stuff, I can't say that I've seen giant robots and madmen zeppelin pilots but I'm no stranger to the strange...hell I've seen about all the kinds of strange there is."

"Wherever I go I pretty much inevitably stumble on whatever's strange and dangerous that's going on. For instance, the giant robot? I was walking down the street, and next thing I know I'm dodging plasma blasts, trying to save the people caught in the damn thing's path. I just try and help people where I can. Everything comes around full circle sooner or later, and I'd rather save the world then leave things be."

"How interesting. You know I'd like to think I share in your philosophy but sometimes you gotta just let things be. I believe it all prospects on the unfolding scenario and proper cause for concise action."

"Still, I've certainly had my fair share in lending a helping hand, when it was deemed necessary of course. Even when the chips are down, you either play the hand you're dealt or you fold. I think if I ever came face to face with an Iron Giant of that caliber, yea I might trail off with my tail between my legs...but then I would reach an accord. I'd analyze, scope the thing out; search for a possible weakness and exploit it. Then it's only a matter a time before I troop the shock team together and end it."
