"You're welcome to ask me things too ya know" She stuck out her tongue. "I can't seem to talk without something sounding obscene tonight....Wasn't he the guy from Edward Scissorhands? I like that one. I think he was on Scooby Doo once too. That was awesome."

He grinned up at her. "You're talking to me, and worried about being obscene. That's adorable." He closed his eyes, shifting so he was lying on his back now, his head still resting on her lap. "Alright... Ask you something... It's gotta be something important."

He thought for several long moments before finally asking, "Where did you get your doll?"

She blushed. Then she looked over at her doll sitting in the corner. "I used to collect them when I was alive. I could only save one when I had to leave, ya know, it's hard to plan and pack all your belongings when you get turned, especially when you weren't expecting it, and when you still lived with your family." She paused. "I have one or two others now, but she's the one I carry all the time, kinda sappy, holding on to my childhood I guess. And she helps me get through social things and a lot of stress, otherwise I'd probably just start crying whenever people I don't know get too close." She took a second and thought, then decided to just be fully truthful. "I also channel through her sometimes for my powers and such."

He watched her, listening as she spoke. His grin had faded though. "I understand... Especially the getting changed when you aren't expecting it." He tilted his head back, looking at the doll. "It's good you have something from then. Even if you think it's childish. You're lucky."

His red eyes moved back to her face. "You keep talking about these powers... I don't really understand."

"Oh, gosh, I'm sorry. I forgot you weren't there at the Baali strike, and I don't normally introduce myself as 'I see dead people girl'. I keep it a secret to most, but you're not most...I just thought you already knew" She paused, then began her explanation. "I can see spirits and sometimes communicate with them, I can see certain things before they happen, and I get along well with the fae, too. No biggie."

She gulped a little. " uhh, yes. Faeries. They're not bad or anything, just mischievous." worried about the look "that's kind of why I don't tell anyone"

His eyes were still wide as he stared up at her in silence. Then, his grin instantaneously returned. "That's so cool! What are they like?! Do they have wings and antennae and are they covered in faery glitter? Do they talk in high pitched voices? Can they talk at all, or do they just squeak and chirp? What kinds of things do they live in? Plants? Trees? Do they build houses like we do?"

She sat there looking shocked, as this was normally the point where she was completely and utterly rejected. She finally started contemplating all the questions and started to smile. "They're like people, they range from awful to great. Their forms are all different, kind of like snowflakes, although there are general types they can fall under. I've seen some faery glitter in my day, but usually not on fae. Sometimes their wings can be all scintillate-y goodness though. Some can talk, some can't. Some live here all around us, and some live in Arcadia. Some have houses, others live in grottoes and the like. I think I got everything.." She sat there smiling ear to ear and brushed a piece of hair off his face.

She looked a little troubled "I don't actually know if I can, usually vampires kind of freak them out, or even physically bother them. Kind of like most vampires besides me bother animals too." she paused "but I'll see if I can find an exceedingly adventurous one to introduce you to"
