Nicolai had been keeping an ear to the conversation unfolding at the bar, but his attention was now firmly on Summer and the table. He placed the bumper of his pool stick on the ground and folded his hands over the tip, leaning on it for support. Casting a grin across the table at her, he said,

"I haven't played pool since I left for California. This will be fun."

The wall skipping was quite an impressive feat. Morgan glanced back at Summer for a second once they reached the door before returning his attention to Faye. He shrugged, walking outside with her and out into the parking lot. "They told us to not get in trouble and be safe... So probably can't go too far."

On a Tuesday evening, somebody few would recognize wanders into the bar. She looks underage, petite and maybe in her late teens, though that doesn't stop the bouncers from letting her in. At first glance she looks like a bum or street kid, with faded and torn jeans and a frayed black hoodie with the hood up. Dirty and tangled hair protrudes from beneath the hood, and her feet are bare, even inside in this weather. A bright green scarf hangs from one belt loop, along with a short wooden talisman with carvings in it that look like hatch-marks. A thin chain of bells hangs from around her neck, and her arms are decorated almost to the elbow with bells, beads, bangels and rubber wrist-bands. Her eyes seem glazed over and distant; she scans the bar as she walks through it, making her way to the patio out back that overlooks the river. Perching on the railing, she stares off into space.

A few minutes later, Ashes gets up from the table to follow her outside.

OOC: I started a new thread "A Visitor Arrives," in case people wanted to keep the two scenes separate. Please respond there if you want to interact; don't want to dominate two threads. Smile

"Apparently we were recognized as a gang, but have yet to acquire a place to call home. I'm open to anything, assuming it doesn't involve me bowing and scraping, know what I mean? I didn't go anarch to find myself beholden to another kindred."

He finished the smoke, right hand rooting around within his coat to draw a cigar of his own, clipping it and giving the foot a burn before lighting it.

"I figure we might be here a while so I might as well toast a long smoker to kill the time."

Reaching to the bar, he took up his johnny walker gold and took a sip. Before turning back to Eric he flagged the tender.

"Just leave the bottle, bring a second glass. I'll cover it.

Turning back to Eric, he nodded towards the bottle. "Help yourself, just please use the glass."

:He nods as he helps himself to a glass:

"Much appreciated."

:After pouring some, he takes a good swig and sighs as an *ahhhh escapes his lips:

"Good shit. Alright. I'm just gonna be frank with you. The influx amount of gang members and gang formations has increased 3-fold for the past several months. That's a problem because there aren't enough X-gangs to occupy Y-territory. Feel me? So, in order to rectify that, I'm gonna ask of you and your gang to join us and we have us a merger. You can take whatever time that you need to think this through. Just remember, there is strength in numbers. I'm asking you, New-blood, to join us The Custodians. That way, you can have access to abilities, ideas, jobs, territory, resources; maybe a discipline here and there, and who knows. We could be big."

:He takes another long swig and lights another cigar:

"Questions? Comments? Concerns? Complaints?"

Taking a moment for a drag, and a swig, he then turned back to Eric.

"But enough of this political inter gang crap. What the hell do we do for fun around this town anyway?"

"Well Harley and Honeys is pretty homey for an old guy like me. There's a strip club not to far from here owned by the Sedites. Guy name Sid runs the place he calls Stilettos. But I guess if you're looking for real fun there is a playhouse....scratch that, was a playhouse until it burned down."

"There's an art gallery, a play theater, unless it got burned down, a few other clubs around here. But for someone like yourself, you might wanna check out Bear Mountain over at Croton Point Park."

Taking a swig, he ashed the cigar just before it would have fallen off.

He glanced back at the bar. "Still... There's at least two people in there I don't like." The albino walked with her across the parking lot, looking out at the few scattered trees for a moment. A grin came to his pierced lips, his red eyes looking a bit wild. He tapped her arm, said, "Tag!" and bolted into the trees, waiting until he got deep enough into the forest before taking the form of a not white wolf to continue his 'escape'.

And then there's Bill, who is gang leader, but is about to step down as he's moving away to Philly. Relinquishing his position, but not his membership. There's also a Bardonia on the sidelines. We call him the cleaner. He's useful to have in various scenarios."
