No. That's part of the problem. They think that about us, and we worry in the back of our mind that it may be so, rather than display confidence that we are the better able to crush their sects local annex should they choose to escalate matters with us to that extent.

We couldn't even get 3 people together for 9s who could hold their own.
You mean we couldn't get 3 people with aegis and a low enough gen.

Let alone take on the Sabbat...
We're not yet best suited to fighting face to face with the sabbat. We need some training and practice first. We can achieve a neccesary level of competency in that area. It is not beyond our power top do so.

That without the support of the Masons.
No, the masons will need to be in on this too if and when the time comes. The arena where we have the advantage over them is in control over the county itself via influence. The masons are the ones who truly own that arena.

The Masons want peace with the Sabbat, because they know once we war with the Sabbat, the Cam will come in here and take us like it's nothing.
No. That is an old landscape things have changed since then. The sabbat have made such inroads in the northeast, claiming territory from the camarilla everywhere. Francois himself sent emmisaries to the GNY domain's court to establish a formal alliance/mutual protection pact. The balance we live in between Camarilla and Sabbat has already been broken and sabbat incursions have become way to severe. We're no better off if they win than ifwe are if old school camarilla does.

It's now neccesary for anarchs, at leat/especially those of the reformer faction to help repel the sabbat advances a bit, if only to restore the previous balance. Once we prove our mettle to the sabbat at large, we can always offer the Kings county Bishop the chance to join the water under the bridge compact with us. This local anex though sooner or later needs to be delat with. They've been to much a threat to our healt and safetey as well as to the masqurade. Why let the sect continue to have such a beachhead in OUR county.

You mean advanced discipline, which needs elders to teach it. Why do you think it matters so much that part? We don't all need advanced training in the cardins. We need it in the basics. That's all it takes for competent force of anarch soldiers easily able to steamroll the shovelheads. The combat formtions can make use of in clan advance discipline folk integrated within each group or formation type to provide adaquete use there of for dealing with the sabbat lieutenents. The only real problem is how to deal with true elders such as the bishop. I don't yet know the extent of his power.

That's true. It's to time to become so. Sometimes the best way to avoid a war is to impress the otherside into not wanting to start one with us. We need to increase our preparedness so as to display combat rediness at amoments notice to all 'casual observers'.

Bad spin. We were willing to 'invite/allow' a camarillan gangel, of an allied domain, to participate in a glorious opportunity to embarass some overeager and overzelous sabbat.

So let me ask you? Are you really ready to die again? Because I don't think any of us are really prepared to take on the Sabbat.
Again, the sabbat are the ones who always prepared to kill us, at a moments notice, any old time, for no good reason. The real way to make sure we don't die again at their lesuire, is to make a point of not being an easy mark. Make the point in fact that it will cost the rest so much investment to war with us, that the cam could then come in and wipe THEM out like it was nothing.

This isn't about the cause. Let's not make the same mistake as the bandelleros. This isn't about preventing some elders from oppressing other peoples freedom. This about preventing some mad zealots from murding everyone who doesn't subscribe to their worldview.

Surprisngly they kept there side well least they were at the time. Who knows what would of happened. But its over and done with now. As for war goes it is truly uncertain...but most likely shit going to hit fan sooon. Do we bend over backwords and have peace? Or we make our stand and most likely get slaughtered. Again.. Catch 22. well we can use the fact that slice clawed me months ago and outa the peace treaty i asked for no payback. i think charlie should use that as a counter for them wanting vengence against side of fires. but the bandies need to be punished but not given or even allow the sabbat in any say, their animals and you must be the alpha to get them to listen. so charlie you need to get ready for war so they know we are serious but their is no need to go all the way if they will back off. has anyone talked to the mason's and got hem involved?

If there is something that can affect the county like war then yah obviously they're going to get involved. But it hasnt thankfully escalated to that point yet.
